The Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI), has re-emphasised that motor retail is ready to open, when restriction allows. The calls to reinstate ‘Click & Collect’ services come as a recent national survey conducted by Behaviours & Attitudes found 75% of people surveyed said they would be comfortable visiting car dealerships/garages when travel restrictions allowed. Car dealerships/garages were ranked first out of eight non-essential Retailers categories as the most comfortable to visit.

We forecast the high number of prospective car buyers and ease of restriction in the coming weeks, will have an uplifting effect on the motor industry.
